Commenting Rules

Please read before commenting

  • Don't be a jerk. Avoid posting any comments that contain the following:
    • Name-calling
    • Personal attacks
    • Knee-jerk reactions
    • Responding to a post's perceived tone rather than actual content
    • Racism, xenophobia, or racial slurs
    • Sexism or misogyny
    • Homophobia
    • Attacks on a person's religious beliefs
    • Attacks on a person's political views
    • Anything that would infringe on another person's rights
    • General offensive comments or hate-speech
    • Threats, violent or otherwise
    • Anything illegal
  • Keep the discussion on-topic
    • Any comments that deviate too far off-topic, or are completely unrelated to the topic will be deleted
  • No self-promotion
    • Comments that only contain links to your blog, a product, your article on another site, etc. will be deleted.
  • Be careful when using profanity
    • If a comment contains curse words, the context of the comment will be used to determine whether it will be deleted. Curse words used to insult, antagonize, inflame, or violate any of the commenting rules will be deleted. Comments containing excessive profanity will also be deleted.
  • Don't copy and paste
    • If you didn't write it, you must cite the source you are quoting. If you can't cite the source, don't post it.
  • English only, for ease of moderating
    • English is my first language, and I'm not fluent in any others. If you are going to comment, please post in English, to the best of your ability. This is simply to make moderating comments easier.
  • Absolutely no spam
    • Any comments containing spam or malicious links will be deleted.

All comments must receive moderator approval before being displayed. This is to ensure that the rules are not violated. The purpose of this blog is to document my game development projects and portfolio. These rules exist to provide a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to comment. Feedback and constructive criticism on any of my projects is appreciated, as long as these rules are adhered to.
